Marketing Manager
Requirements:
-
Proven experience in managing international marketing system (at least 3 years) – preference for experience from broadcast / telecommunications companies.

English at a very advanced level (preference for mother-tongue level)

Relevant academic degree (Business Management / Marketing)
Responsibilities:
-
Segmentation of existing markets & identification of potential markets
-
Develop and lead a marketing strategy
-
Formulate an annual work plan based upon the marketing strategy
-
Monitor the annual work plan based on pre-defined measures of success
-
Build and operate mechanisms to collect up-to-date information on market changes, competition and trends (business intelligence)
-
Manage company branding process
-
Manage the marcom field
-
Manage work with PR and ad agencies
-
Represent the company at conferences and exhibitions
-
Develop and implement commercial ventures
-
Partnership in formulating pricing strategy

Transmission Controller
Reports to: Operations Manager, Playout Center Services
Summary of Role: Working within the Playout Center, Transmission Controllers ensure quality and continuity of service across multiple television channels.
Key Objectives:
-
Monitoring of the automated transmission system, manually intervening as required
-
Monitoring of channel outputs for quality and continuity of service
-
Execution of transmission schedules to ensure exact content is transmitted at the correct time
-
Ingesting & preparing media assets for archive and broadcast
-
Direct liaison with third-party MCR and control rooms to ensure ancillary feeds are available
-
First-line fault diagnosis and liaison with the Engineering team as required
-
Managing scheduled caching of program material and preparation of media for TX
-
Responsible for the deployment of redundant systems under failure conditions
-
Assist in training of team members to competent level of understanding of Playout systems
-
Editorial decision making where live programming affects schedule timings
Skills/Competencies:

Technical Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:

Experience with TX automation systems, broadcast or IT equipment

Experience with graphics and captioning systems

Experience in operation of broadcast or IT equipment

Able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of the end-to-end process of channel playout
-
Thorough understanding of all operational procedures within playout
-
Awareness and general understanding of Windows operating systems

Sales Director
Requirements:

Proven experience in managing sales and business development in the broadcast/ satellite field.

Residence in the West coast, preference from southern California area
-
Relevant academic degree (Business Management / Marketing)

Responsibilities:

Managing all sales activities in the west coast area
-
Responsibility for business development and opening new sales channels

Research the target market and locate potential major customers
-
Determine the needs of the potential major customers

Present the company's services & technical solutions to the major customers

Prepare a sales quote based on appropriate technical solutions and present it to the major customer.

Negotiate with potential customer to close the deal (including flights and face-to-face meeting, if necessary(

Renew contracts with existing customers.
-
Expand the range of services purchased by existing customers.
-
Control and support the implementation of closed deals with the technical division (regarding technical solutions included in the deal)
-
Control and support the implementation of closed transactions with Finance Department (in relation to formal contracts, invoice generation and receipt of revenues )
