RRsat's complete continuous satellite transmissions include Uplink, Downlink and Turnaround Services through Teleports, Flyaway and Transportable Uplink and Downlink Systems with dishes for C-Band, KU-Band and Ka-Band (2.4m to 32m). Located at the geographic midpoint of the world communications network, RRsat is able to maintain a unique global distribution platform with significantly lower outlays than its competitors. RRsat delivers fully managed playout services of automated and high capacity facilities. The automation system is run according to the playlist provided by the client. Based on advanced technology, the new playout Center is capable of providing end–to-end HD services; including high resolution graphics and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. This new installation expands the playout services we currently provide to more than 100 channels, as well as the global distribution services we provide to more than 550 TV and Radio channels.

The RRsat Global Communications Network operates an array of more than a 100 powerful antennas to receive broadcasts from Europe, Africa, Middle East, the Gulf and the Far East.

Direct-To-Home (DTH) services

As a full service DTH company, RRsat manages your digital transmission, encryption and subscriber services. Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite broadcasting is the distribution of television and/or radio signals from high-powered geostationary satellites to small dish antennas and satellite receivers in homes across wide geographical areas. The available DTH broadcasting systems provide viewers with additional options for obtaining a diverse range of programming where local cable or off-air choice was previously limited or non-existent. Broadcasters can choose between a Free to Air (FTA) "open broadcast" or can incorporate an "encrypted" or scrambled technology in their systems to prevent non-paying customers from viewing their channels.
